The product has been designed in close collaboration with doctors from the Department of Pulmonology at Hospital del Mar in Barcelona, Spain.
The Orygen Valve allows for training of the inspiratory muscles. The resistance can be adjusted from 0 to 70cm H2O with level increments of 10cm H2O.
The Orygen Dual Valve is a portable and user-friendly product. It serves as an essential training aid for patients suffering from or recovering from: COPD, Asthma, Stroke, Parkinson's, COVID-19, or Dysphagia.
Recommended Usage:
- Frequency: 4 or 5 days per week, twice daily
- When to use: Morning and night
- Treatment method:
- Start training: 3 sets of 10 breaths, in the morning and evening
- Once comfortable: Increase to 3 sets of 20 breaths in the morning and evening
- Advanced use: 3 sets of 10 breaths in the morning and evening
Daily use of the Orygen Inspiratory Valve is recommended. Noticeable results can be achieved with usage 4 days per week.
The Orygen Inspiratory Valve is supplied with a rubber mouthpiece and nose clip.
